Multi Media Makeup Artist, Donna Kelly!

Donna has been a multi media makeup artist for 18 years working in fashion, print, and television. She was known in LA for her expert eyebrow shapings by tweezing only. Some had to wait three months before getting an appointment. In Palm Beach, Donna opened the first professional makeup studio. She airbrushed her way into the charity balls and fashion shows at Mar A Lago.

Her work has been mentioned in Allure Magazine for her efforts to teach local news stations how to airbrush their own makeup to meet the demands of High Definition Telelvision. She has worked with news stations in West Palm Beach, Florida and El Paso, Texas as they make their switch to High Definition Television. She was most recently been featured on “Making A Difference” on Channel 5 News/WPTV for her charity, Beauty Heals,Inc.

I wanted to start off by saying that I hung on your every word when you were telling your story of what it was like to be a makeup artist.Your makeup demonstration was also AMAZING. When I heard we were going to have a professional makeup artist for a guest speaker I could feel my breath get shallow out of excitement because this is what I have wanted to do all my life.I remember as a young teenager buying Kevin Aucoine books and trying to mimic what his pictures showed.I am just absolutely thrilled to know someone that has been through this type of industry and has chased her dreams no matter how hard it got at times.I really want to be a professional in print ads movies... etc. I really do not want to limit myself to just a salon.
